Jesse began his career in the construction industry with
a lighting manufacturer that manufactured and installed residential light fixtures
for the home building industry. His initial entry into the concrete industry
was with Campbell Concrete in 1997 as the yard superintendent for the Riverside
operation. He quickly moved up to Director of Purchasing for all of Campbell
Companies which meant he was responsible for the purchasing in Riverside, Las
Vegas and Sacramento office's as well. In 2000 he was named Director of Purchasing & Asset
Management for Campbell Companies which meant he was now responsible for all
of the equipment including trucks and small tools as well. In 2005 Campbell Companies
was purchased by BMHC and shortly after, he was part of the team asked to head
up self supply/distribution. Jesse helped manage a distribution center in the
city of Mira Loma where he negotiated deals with all the major manufactures for
construction supplies and moved said products into SelectBuild business units.
Jesse says he looks forward to bringing his experience in negotiation and asset
management to the Martinez family.
